That is why we have partnered with Credly’s platform to provide our members with a digital badge to prove their membership status with us, while the metadata that sits behind it gives the viewer an understanding of the criteria required to achieve it.

Members can use their digital badges in email signatures, digital CVs, across social media and on personal websites. The digital image contains verified metadata that displays the current member grade.

It enables you to watch and listen from your desk or catch up on demand when it’s convenient for you. Hosted monthly by subject matter experts, our member exclusive webinars keep you up-to-date and knowledgeable on topics covering all aspects of marketing. You’ll be able to apply what you’ve learnt immediately to your current role.

Chartered status is present in most industries and is recognised internationally. Achieving Chartered Marketer status recognises your experience, knowledge and commitment to your career and the marketing profession. By joining this community, you demonstrate your commitment to keeping up-to-date and maintaining the highest standards of marketing knowledge and expertise. Any marketer can achieve Chartered Marketer status, as long as you meet the criteria.

To qualify for Chartered Marketer Status, you must:

• First hold Associate (ACIM), Member (MCIM) or Fellow (FCIM) graded membership of CIM
• Then complete two consecutive years of Continuing Professional Development (CPD), which you can log onto the CPD platform at your convenience
• Finally, pass the Chartered Marketer Assessment, which will be available on completion of your second consecutive year of CPD.

Once this criteria is met, we can award you Chartered Marketer status, at no additional cost to your current membership fee - the most prestigious accolade in marketing.

You can gain six-months access to one of our online courses of your choice when you join as a graded member. There are four courses to choose from:

1. Marketing and Brand Strategy: aimed at marketers looking to develop their strategic marketing planning skills and become more equipped to respond to changing business challenges
2. Marketing Fundamentals: helping to develop skills and knowledge needed to plan and measure an effective marketing communications campaign and to develop other core fundamental marketing principles
3. Planning and Optimising Marketing Campaigns: providing insight on effective campaign planning and execution as well as understanding and evaluating performance
4. Copywriting – The Complete Guide: tackles the full range of copywriting challenges with practical tools, techniques and professional advice.

The Marketing Fundamentals online course is worth £299 whilst the Marketing and Brand Strategy and Planning and Optimising Marketing Campaigns online courses are worth £449.
