    Overview

    Google Analytics 4 (GA4) will become Google’s default analytics platform on 1st July. This short course is designed to help marketers quickly get up to speed on the fundamentals of GA4 and learn how to develop better visual dashboards, reports and insights to update stakeholders on business performance. You will learn how to identify the right metrics from GA4’s key reports, develop a practical measurement and create visual dashboards and reports using additional tools such as Looker Studio.

    Marketers who are interested in improving their understanding of Google Analytics 4 to create reports and dashboards to communicate business performance with stakeholders.

    Learning outcomes

    • Analytics and insight strategy: look at different approaches to data, reporting, measurement and insight to create a practical measurement framework
    • Identify goals, metrics and KPIs: select the goals, metrics and KPIs that you should be tracking to measure business performance  
    • Understand key GA4 reports: make sense of the main GA4 reports and identify which ones are most important to communicate business performance
    • Create dashboards and data visualisation: review some of the options available to create practical dashboards and data visualisations (e.g. using Looker Studio, BigQuery) to collate key pieces of information most relevant for business stakeholders  
    • Best practice examples: look at how other brands and organisations are approaching GA4 to drive actionable insights
