Graduate Gateway offers students module exemptions on the most sought after CIM Qualifications, reducing the number of assessments taken to one or two, instead of three; making it more efficient and cost-effective to gain professional marketing qualifications. Embedding CIM modules and assessments in programmes creates a seamless way to graduate with a professional marketing qualification and degree.

This benefit is available to anyone studying for or having graduated with a CIM Graduate Gateway degree. Use the drop-down feature to find out which university degrees this applies to. The fast-track qualification feature can be utilised during the degree and up to 5 years after graduating.

Criteria for Graduate Gateway

Graduate Gateway is recommended for the following degrees which have at least 33% of marketing related content:

  • Foundation Degrees
  • Undergraduate Degrees
  • Postgraduate Degrees
  • Apprenticeship Degrees
  • HND

Degrees with over 50% marketing related content can be mapped against the Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing/Digital Marketing qualification and the Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing/Digital Marketing qualification.

If the degree doesn’t qualify at 50% but does have at least 33% of marketing related content, it can be mapped against the Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing/Digital Marketing qualification.

Not sure your degree has enough marketing related content to be mapped against CIM Qualifications? It could still qualify as a Recognised Degree.

Mapping

Mapping is simple. The marketing content within the degree is mapped against the Professional Marketing Competencies (PMC). There are four approval boards annually where we consider applications for Graduate Gateway status.
