Shortlist revealed for CIM Marketing Excellence Awards

    ● The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) received hundreds of entries
    ● Winners from CIM’s Marketing Excellence Awards 2020 shortlist to be revealed across three online virtual events
    ● Rolls-Royce, Everton FC and HelloFresh UK amongst top organisations nominated
    ● Awards will be a virtual event for the first time

The top marketing campaigns of 2020 have been shortlisted for the Marketing Excellence Awards run by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

Entries were submitted by a wide variety of companies, individuals and teams from across the UK. Now in their eleventh year, the awards illustrate the range of creative talent from in-house teams and agencies in the field of marketing, submitted before the pandemic in 2020.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the winners of CIM’s Marketing Excellence Awards 2020 shortlist will be announced in three online sessions which will take place on 2, 3 and 4 March 2021 at 1pm.

The sessions will be hosted by comedian Tom Allen with the winners receiving their awards by post to adhere to all COVID-19 protocols.

The hundreds of entries were assessed by an expert panel of marketing professionals and practitioners from top brands including Nestle, Weetabix and The Body Shop.

Chris Daly, CEO at Chartered Institute of Marketing said: “Congratulations to all those shortlisted. When we first announced entries to be open back in 2019, we could not have anticipated or imagined the challenge the world has faced over the past year. Yet despite this, marketers have proved their resilience and creativity at every stage, which is why we are delighted to be able to announce the 2020 winners and reward excellence in the field of marketing.

“This year has tested our industry like no other, but the breadth and wealth of today’s shortlist ought to serve as a vital reminder that our industry is a powerful and critical function of businesses, particularly during challenging times.”
