    PRESS RELEASE

CIM LAUNCHES NORTH EAST TRAINING COURSES FOLLOWING NESMA PARTNERSHIP

Individuals, teams and organisations in the North East and beyond can now take advantage of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) training courses on their doorstep.

CIM has launched a series of open courses – one and two-day training sessions aimed at anyone interested in building their skills across a range of key marketing disciplines in Newcastle.

Gosforth-based study centre, nesma, who specialise in offering marketing, public relations and digital courses all year round, will launch the CIM open courses from November 2018. They include Managing Digital Marketing, Introduction to Customer Experience and Brand Masterclass.

The courses will be delivered by CIM training partner nesma and it will mean that candidates will no longer have to travel out of the region to upskill themselves to access CIM training programmes.

Charlie Nettle, CIM North East Chair, said: “The North East is full of talented marketers and professionals who in the past have always had to travel to Manchester or even CIM headquarters in Berkshire to attend the open courses. Our partnership with nesma will ensure distance is no longer a barrier to training and we look forward to welcoming the first delegates on board.”

Veronica Swindale, nesma managing director, said: “We currently run a number of CIM short courses ranging from Wordpress to marketing strategy. We are delighted to now offer these prestigious CIM accredited courses to our portfolio and continue to partner with CIM. The new training offer will equip learners with the skills to meet the increasing demands of contemporary challenges at every stage in their career and of course these can count towards CPD too.”
