CIM are pleased to launch our sector consultation on the new Marketing Assistant Apprenticeship. Employers from across the country have been developing a new entry-level Marketing Assistant apprenticeship, as part of an employer trailblazer group, to help ensure the marketing industry has the skills it needs for the future of the profession.

To progress its approval, we need your views.

This new level 3 Marketing Assistant apprenticeship forms part of a career pathway for marketing professionals. It has been designed to complement higher level marketing apprenticeships already developed by employers (level 4 Marketing Executive and level 6 Marketing Manager) and approved for delivery.

Submitting your views in the survey is a unique opportunity to define the expertise you’d expect from a Marketing Assistant, ensure we address any skills gaps, and help ensure we develop talented marketing professionals in the best way possible. The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete. All feedback will be aggregated and used anonymously to refine the apprenticeship before we submit it for approval to the Institute for Apprenticeships.
