    CIM ANNOUNCES NEW VICE CHAIR APPOINTMENT TO FURTHER STRENGTHEN NORTH WEST MARKETING BOARD 

    • Aaron Hayes joins CIM North West as Vice Chair to bring creative expertise

    The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) North West has today announced a new Vice Chair appointment has been made to the board for the next twelve months. Aaron Hayes, who is a fellow of CIM and commercial director at the award-winning digital and creative agency KODE. Aaron will bring years of strategy, web design, sales and marketing experience, as well as knowledge of how to build successful client relationships. Previously, Aaron served as the creative ambassador on the CIM North West Board for 2 years.   

    Aaron will work alongside the other North West board members, each with their own marketing expertise, providing guidance and opportunities to CIM members and highlighting key benefits to new potential members. The board will operate under the leadership of the CIM North West chair, Richard Kenyon.  

    Discussing his new appointment to the CIM North West Board, Aaron said: "It is an honour to be Vice Chair of the North West board and I can't wait to work with Richard Kenyon and the rest of the board to have a positive impact in the North West region. 

    “I am very lucky to have such an amazing team of leaders, marketers, and influencers as my colleagues on the board and I hope to do them and CIM proud as Vice Chair.

    “When I joined the board, I stated that I want to make a difference and I hope that this position will enable me to continue the work I started as ambassador for creative and will allow me to continue to help, influence, mentor and inspire marketers now and in the future. I am pleased that I am part of CIM and feel blessed to be given this opportunity to be involved in the exiting plans that lay ahead.”

    CIM North West chair, Richard Kenyon added: “I’m really pleased that Aaron has taken up the position of Vice Chair on the CIM North West Board. Aaron has brought ideas, drive and energy since he joined almost 2 years ago and I’m sure we’ll see even more of this from him in his new position on our team. We have exciting plans ahead for the next 12 months and I know that Aaron will play a valuable role in delivering them.”

    Discussing CIM North West plans, Aaron said: “Just one of the ways the North West Board will bring value to local members of CIM is an immersive tech event we are hosting with Barclays Eagle Labs. At the event, we will be showcasing the RS Titan Truck and letting CIM members get hands-on with the latest tech and learn more about industry 4.0. The event will also provide an amazing networking opportunity for CIM members and potential members alike.

    “At the event, members will be invited to have a tour of Barclays Eagle Labs as well as see the 3D printers and laser cutters on show. More details will be available on our events page.”
