    6:00 PM - Chester

The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) are coming into force in May 2018, affecting how organisations store and use data on EU individuals.

Marketing professionals across all sectors will need to re-evaluate the tools they use to target customers, as protection power shifts towards consumers and message recipients. With opt-out permission no longer an option, many databases will be rendered useless and secure storage of the information within each will need to be assured.

This briefing will look at what steps organisations and marketing professionals need to take to be fully compliant. A panel of experts, led by Jane Harrad-Roberts FCIM of Marketing Projects, will present their views and answer questions to ensure the North West leads other regions of the UK on full compliance and best practice.

This event is kindly sponsored by The Candidate.
