6:00 PM - London

At our first CIM/LSBU Marketing Club event for this year leading digital agency Croud will take an in-depth look at the growth and culture of apps and why in-app advertising should be considered for any omni-channel campaign. In this session, Croud experts Lisa and Felicity will look at:

What is in-app advertising? We’ll explore what exactly in-app advertising is and the different formats available, as well as the most popular categories, and how to measure performance.

How can we get more out of in-app advertising? Lisa and Felicity will then walk you through the advantages of in-app advertising and how you can get more out of it - from time spent in apps to how to tackle content, creative, and messaging.

Who’s doing it well? We’ll then look at some examples of brands that are successfully leveraging in-app advertising - in both dating apps and gaming apps - and what marketers can learn from them.

We will wrap up the session with a group exercise. Each team will get a different brand to work on, and you’ll work through questions such as: What categories would you choose to target consumers via in-app advertising and why? Which formats would you choose and why? What content, creative and messaging would you include?
