    6:00 PM - Cookham

**This event has been re-scheduled from 10 July 2019**

What does it take to lead a pharma or medtech company? To make sense of our turbulent industry, to envision a strategy and build the organisation to deliver it? In this masterclass, Professor Brian D Smith discusses his latest book, ‘Leadership in the Life Sciences’ based on personal interviews with the leaders of the industry's most important companies.

Relevant to anyone working in the pharma or medtech industry, this masterclass provides new insight not only into leadership but also into how leadership is applied in the technically complex and socially vital life sciences industry.

Professor Brian D Smith is the world's leading authority on the evolution of the life sciences industry. A 40-year veteran of the sector, Smith has published over 300 books, papers and articles on the topic, including ‘The Future of Pharma’, ‘Darwin's Medicine’ and ‘Brand Therapy’. Everyone attending the event will receive a copy of his new book, which will be followed by a book signing.
