The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is one of the most important pieces of legislation to affect marketers, globally and it came in to force on the 25 of May 2018 … are you fully compliant?

We will look specifically at how the new regulations affect the planning and implementation of digital and direct marketing campaigns including data capture, data purchase, data sharing and data security.

We will also look at how to build better opt-in lists for E-mail, SMS, and Direct mail campaigns, understand the soft opt-in and how B2B differs from B2C.

Mike Holland is Marketing and Communications Director at OlsenMetrix Marketing. Formed as a merger of Olsen Partnership and Metrix Marketing the agency is a true ‘one stop shop’ for marketing communications and specialises in raising awareness, changing opinions and generating sales for clients.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, a Chartered Marketer and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). He is chairman of the Levitt Group, the CIM's organisation for senior marketers.

An accomplished lecturer and trainer, Mike has delivered seminars, presentations and courses for Cambridge University, the Institute of Directors, Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce, the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Management Development Network.
