Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising can be a scary and an expensive venture if you don't know how to properly run campaigns that yield a positive return on investment. Running a Search campaign on Google AdWords isn't simply bidding on terms. There's so much to consider, from writing compelling ad copy to reducing your cost per click by focusing on increasing your quality score. Avoid costly mistakes by learning how to manage a successful paid search campaign on this workshop.
What good is running advertising if you don't know what your return on investment is? Gone are the days of guessing if an advertising campaign work. If you don’t know what Google Analytics is, you haven’t installed it on your website, or you have installed it but never look at your data. This workshop is for you. Many small businesses struggle to get to grips with Google Analytics and never capitalise on the full potential available. Pulling out meaningful data to see how your website is performing, can support you in making smart decisions for your business. It can help you determine if your channels are worth focusing on, and which aren't worth your time.
This workshop will guide you on how to use Google Analytics and AdWords from the absolute beginner’s point of view. The workshop will be highly interactive and won’t just deliver a data dump of jargon. We’ll look at how to set up Google Analytics and AdWords, how to manage a successful campaign, and how to measure the success of campaigns against your business objectives.
Your workshop leader is Sam Charles, a Google certified digital marketing expert with a Google Certified Educator Qualification for teaching digital tools. Sam's been featured in The Drum magazine ‘50 Under 30’, nominated for ‘Young Search Professional’ at the UK Search Awards (in association with Bing) and is a business coach, university lecturer and runs her own digital marketing agency.
