    1:00 PM - Webinar Express

Marketing in the fresh produce sector plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between farm and table. It's not just about selling fruits and vegetables; it's about telling a story that resonates with consumers, emphasising the quality, sustainability, and the journey from seed to plate.

Innovative companies like Dyson are redefining this narrative by integrating cutting-edge technology into farming, thus enhancing the value proposition of their produce. Marketing strategies in this domain focus on educating consumers about the benefits of fresh produce, creating brand loyalty, and highlighting the technological advancements that make it possible to deliver fresher, more nutritious options to the market. As such, marketing becomes an essential tool in not only driving sales but also in shaping the future of agriculture and consumer health.

Speaker: Daniel Cross, Managing Director, Dyson Farming

As the Managing Director at Dyson Farming, Dan brings over 25 years of experience in the fresh produce, food and farming industries. He joined Dyson Farming in January 2022, after leading Love Beets, a successful food brand in the USA, for four and a half years. Before that, he held various positions at G's, a leading fresh salads and vegetables producer in the UK, Europe & North America, where he had the opportunity to work his way from Factory Manager to divisional Managing Director, via Operational, Sales & Marketing roles.

He has a passion for delivering high-quality products to customers, while ensuring sustainability, innovation, and efficiency in the supply chain. He has developed and executed multiple strategies to grow market share, increase revenue, and improve customer satisfaction, working with diverse and talented teams across different geographies and cultures.
