    1:00 PM - Marketing Club

In this straightforward copywriting session, self-professed wordsmith and CIM Content Marketing Manager Stuart Thomas will take you through some copywriting tips and tricks that feed into almost every aspect of marketing. The session will cover the following topics:

    • Why words matter
    • Knowing the writing rules and when to break them
    • Writing for everybody, everywhere, all at once
    • Tools of the copywriting trade

By the end of the session you’ll know why every business has a copywriter or someone who does copywriting, how the landscape has changed when writing for business, and why sometimes in writing you need to imagine you’re a different person entirely.

Speaker: Stuart Thomas, Content Marketing Manager at CIM

Stuart has over 10 years experience writing for many different organisations including a National Governing Body, e-commerce companies, members of the Virgin Group and a garden centre. He’s written copy as a reviewer, sports journalist, travel writer, poet, Sales Manager, CEO and occasionally himself. He’s never been an English teacher, but he can spot a spelling mistake like the best of them.

The webinar will last about an hour and is inclusive of a live Q&A session after the presentation.
