Known worldwide as one of Scotland’s iconic drinks, Johnnie Walker pushes boundaries and captures imaginations with their creative storytelling. With over 200 years of perfecting their craft, ensuring the marketing reflects every part of their process, including their commitment to sustainability, reducing their footprint ‘from grain to glass’, is a big responsibility.
In this special ‘in conversation’ event, Alan McGarrie, Head of Marketing for Johnnie Walker Princes Street, will delve into the brand, Diageo's Scotland Brand Homes, their marketing, and his own career, sharing personal experiences and examples that have contributed to ensuring Johnnie Walker remains fresh and appealing to consumers, globally.
Hosted at the new Johnnie Walker Princes Street in Edinburgh, the evening will start with an immersive experience as you take a tailored tour through the venue’s, ‘Journey of Flavour’, learning more about what makes their range of whisky so well sought after. After taking a flavour preference quiz, you will also get to taste a cocktail that tantalises your taste buds (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices are available).
Following the tour, we will enjoy the main event with Alan where he shares insights into their marketing approach. You’ll be offered the unique opportunity to ask him your questions, about Johnnie Walker and his own personal journey.
The ‘in conversation’ theme will run throughout the event, with drinks and nibbles available while you network and catch-up with friends old and new…so this is one CIM Scotland event you won’t want to miss.
