5:30 PM - Cambridge

CIM and Anglia Ruskin University Marketing Club’s next event will focus on the important topic of Accessibility. Katie Booth, Strategy and Relationship Lead at Granite 5 will suggest that the one place where digital marketing is playing catch up with offline is in the arena of ‘inclusivity’.

Whilst the physical world has been developing products, goods and experiences to be accessible to all for many years, the digital world is at the beginning of the journey. But simple changes can make massive differences to the user experience (UX) in the truest sense of the term.

Granite 5 will take you through the developments being made in digital to ensure that the browsing experience is as engaging and inclusive for as many people as possible.

•    Which user groups should you be considering?
•    What to think about from a design perspective?
•    How to build a web site to include as many users as possible?

We’ll also take you through the potential pitfalls of trying to achieve everything on one site, and show you where we think the happy medium lies. With a little bit of thinking, we can all change the world, one website at a time.

Attendance is free for Anglia Ruskin University students.
