Membership requirements

To accurately recognise your professional level, you’ll need to meet and demonstrate a minimum standard of marketing qualifications and experience.

	Qualifications		Experience
Option 1	CIM Level 7 Qualification or equivalent	AND	5 years’ marketing management experience and/or significant marketing teaching experience at level 6 or above
Option 2	CIM Level 6 Qualification or equivalent	AND	7 years’ experience at management level or senior consultant level
Option 3	None	AND	10 years’ experience (including 7 years at management level)
