Individuals holding membership with an institute partnered with the African Marketing Confederation (AMC) are eligible for discounted membership with CIM; Affiliate Professional, Associate (ACIM), Member (MCIM) or Fellow (FCIM). Standard membership assessment and eligibility criteria applies. Evidence of partnership membership must be supplied at the point of application and will be reviewed and verified. Members must hold current membership with the AMC institute at the time of application to CIM membership, and at the point of renewal.
Once this offer is redeemed, all standard membership terms and conditions apply.
Please upload your supporting documents when asked to do so on the membership application form. We require evidence that shows you meet the CIM membership criteria and that you have membership with the partnership AMC body. This is so you can benefit from the reduced membership rate and so that we can process your application without delay. We may ask for further information from you to complete the grade assessment.

We have membership to suit all levels of marketers, from marketing students and affiliates to graded and company affiliate members. Graded membership recognises your achievements in the marketing industry and awards you the designatory letters to match. Based on your experience and qualifications, and upon becoming an Associate, Member or Fellow, you can begin your route to becoming a Chartered Marketer.

After applying for graded membership online your application will be assessed by our dedicated applications team. They will be in touch to confirm your membership grade, you should expect to hear from us by phone or email within five working days.
Affiliate members will receive an email from Credly with their digital membership badge within one working day of joining. Graded members will receive their badge at the point of grade confirmation. You can use your digital badge in email signatures, digital CVs across social media and personal websites. The digital image contains verified metadata that displays your current CIM member grade. A downloadable membership certificate is also available from Credly.
