Virtual course
Overview
This interactive, practical course is designed to develop the skills required to create and deliver compelling online presentations, promoting you and your content in the best possible way in a virtual environment. The course content is deliberately structured to reflect best practise when it comes to developing powerful presentations; spending equal time on planning, content and delivery before the final two sessions provide a platform for participants to showcase their new skills and receive high quality feedback.
Although some of the content will be applicable for any presentation, the focus throughout will explore what’s different in an online environment and how can we tailor our content and delivery for the specific demands of remote presenting. You will join a small group (we cap the numbers at 6) to ensure that you receive tailored support and personal feedback throughout the course.
Week 1
- Session 1: Intro: The purpose of presentations & ‘selling’ you as a presenter
- Session 2: Planning: Understanding your audience & articulating outcomes
Week 2
- Session 3: Content: The science of narrative & clarity of message
- Session 4: Delivery: Generating online energy & increasing virtual presence
Week 3
- Session 5: Practise makes perfect: 1-2-1 rehearsal with feedback
- Session 6: Showcase: Delivery to and feedback from the whole group
Who should attend?
This course is for marketers or business owners who are increasingly required to deliver presentations through online platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and WebEx (please note that the content is platform agnostic. The course does not contain any technical content regarding use of specific platforms or online functionality).

Reuben Milne

From corporate keynotes to intensely personal TED talks, Reuben has helped hundreds of marketers at all levels of agencies and organisations translate their thinking into powerful, memorable presentations that resonate for audiences large and small.
Reuben is a much sought-after speaker, panel moderator and event MC himself and as such is in a unique position to be able to support speakers with both their content and the delivery of that content, helping them sell themselves as well as their ideas to any type of audience.
He offers a relaxed, down-to-earth coaching style that combines passion and expertise –to help delegates increase their performance.
