There are three cost elements* to studying with CIM.
1. Once you've selected your preferred Accredited Study Centre, contact them to discuss your tuition fees. Note that costs vary for each centre.
2. You'll then need to become a CIM member, for which the annual fee starts at £65 for Affiliate Studying.
3. Finally, you’ll need to book your assessments through CIM when studying. Please see the current assessment booking fees below:

If you’ve completed an Award from the 2019 syllabus and wish to continue studying under the new (2024) syllabus, transitional arrangements are in place to facilitate your transition seamlessly. Our Accredited Study Centres stand ready to guide you through this process with expert advice.

The final assessment session for modules from the 2019 syllabus is July 2025 (excluding Level 7 modules, and Level 4 CIM Accredited Degree module, Marketing in Action).
To ensure a smooth transition, we encourage you to speak to your Accredited Study Centre promptly to enrol in any remaining modules. They’re equipped to provide guidance on your options, including possible pathways to continue studying under the new (2024) syllabus.
Assessments for Level 3, 4 and 6 qualifications will be conducted online with new exam scheduling windows that provide more choice and flexibility for when you can book and sit your exam, which means you can structure your learning around your life.
Yes, your exemption(s) remain valid for five years from the date of completing the qualification (degree/apprenticeship). However, in line with our updated syllabus, our exemptions have evolved as well. Rest assured, your exemption(s) will smoothly transition to the new module(s).

A review of the Level 7 qualifications is planned for 2025, this includes the Marketing Leadership Programme and the Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Marketing.
Yes, if you hold existing modules or qualifications from the 2019 syllabus, they remain not only valid but also highly esteemed internationally by employers. Your CIM credentials support and help as you progress through your marketing career, without any expiration date.
